The 3 forms of respect
It has been almost 21 years since I have came on this earth. And with what I have observed in my day to day life with growing age I have put down certain things I have noted about people. It’s Respect.. and certainly respect doesn’t mean always good.. It has it’s own forms. Respect by fear: And you wouldn’t wait to guess who would it be … a parallel word to it- Hitlerism . If we look down our history many crowned headed people have been compelling others with their own opinion and in exchange they demanded respect ( or forced respect) . Those who didn’t had a pay a price which included penalty in the form of sentence. Other’s feared and kept mum. This type of respect doesn’t last long. Unrest soon develops among the subjects and the dictator is soon overthrown. In colleges, Lecturers demanding respect in exchange of internal marks is the same kind of RESPECT BY FEAR.
