Finally became an engineer today . But if you ask me to write a program I learnt in my first year, I give you a strong guarantee that I will disappoint you. My grandmother dreamt of all her grandsons becoming an engineer because she used to see engineers of her time striding in khaki clothes, eyes covered with gold specs and little boys in underwear running behind their ambassador car whenever they passed along the lane. A bungalow, a car and servants were the assets they possessed.  But little did my innocent grandmother know that time changes and folds off everything. The dream passed down and reached us. I had a friend whom I seem to meet almost regularly during travel to college. I would alight Karjat and he would travel to Lonavla. With this same thing happening over almost a year, we had grown into close friends. At first we used to talk about the weather and how most of the pune crowd is egoistic during travel, who wouldn’t lend their seat to us despite their spine aching from rubbing their butt against the seats. What I felt good about him was that he was always smiling and seemed to carry off his burden of hectic schedule with humor. Slowly we had deeper topics to discuss about and we almost forgot about the seats we had to catch and how sunny it was outside. We started discussing about our friends and personal life. “What was the best phase of your life?” Ask this question to any elder fellow on this earth and it would rarely happen if he doesn’t mention his college days. This is the age when everything in life balances out. You seem to be living at the juncture of both skylarking days of movie, music, friends and parties and the other part where you juggle with your study responsibilities and deadlines .And if there was anyone if he didn’t balance both properly, he wouldn’t be immune to problems and regrets in l ater life. Everyone in the group sitting silently on their ch airs in canteen and someone fireworks a joke। The group bursts into the laugh with almost each one of them hurling their hilarious comments.
