Beautiful baby , beautiful world

Image
An old man carrying his granddaughter baby on the road holds her tightly but not too tight; just to make sure his weak muscles don’t make a mistake. The baby rests her small chin on her grandpa’s shoulder with woolen scarf around her head to protect her from cold. Her dark black eyes resembling a jewel, is in her own world with no purpose. You are just behind this old man adoring the comely pink cheeks she carrying. And as you are finding a way from your heart to look into her eyes, she stops her wondering and stares back at you. You feel the connection.  As your happy hormones surge, you smile. She then sparks a beautiful smile and your heart leaps in joy . You can see yourself in her. The things didn’t stop there. The rest of evening went as pleasant as it could. While you connect the internet successfully we have long lost the art of connecting with people from the heart. And that art needn’t be learnt because that is what we are already built with. ...

Top 5 must-read inspirational books

Image
I was a very shy from my childhood days . It continued until my tenth exams. Low confidence and self esteem, very traditionalistic, God fearing and a guy who could be easily bullied by his juniors are some of the attributes with which you could have easily described me in those days. Things changed when my brother Mahesh pushed me to read “The alchemist” by Paulo Coelho.   I built a positive reinforcement in myself and then things have changed a lot .  I wish to pass on the best inspirational books I could suggest to you. Although there may be still more to come in my life ahead. If you have your books to suggest I request you to mention them in the comment box below so that  even i could go through it.  #1 : The Secret by Rhonda Bryne This book stresses upon the concept of LAW OF ATTRACTION. It has helped readers turn positive and cling on to the hope in times of darkness. The basic principle “Whatever you focus on, expands”. Though the p...

The matter of small things

Many a times we do tend to overlook certain things.  A bigger fight usually doesn’t start big. Its starts with a bud until it blossoms into a full fledged poisonous flower scratching off that clean image of your relationship. A morning fight starts just out of sheer frustration from not finding your notebook to not finding your socks to the heat all soaking you in sweat; and the final result is – You end up with a battle with your loved ones. And believe me many of the bigger fights come out of rage, frustration or may be you just need to vent your anger out. You will surely feel better for a second but believe me, it comes back and snaps you harder. The topics change.  When we realize it later it was not at all necessary, we try to mend it.   We don’t know that we are just chopping off the branches of the tree we had grown a few minutes ago. While it has established it’s roots so strongly it becomes difficult for you to solve the fight. And that’s why t...

From ORKUT to FACEBOOK to DISASTER

Image
When some people get used to certain things they change things or may be become lazier and short cut it. Let me tell you what I mean.  When orkut existed we had to send scraps and all we had to do is to send scraps to each other and continuously refresh the page to check if the beautiful classmate has responded. When she would respond we would read it thousands of time and again, refresh the page after giving a big nice grammatically correct reply! The conversation went on and on. When photos would be uploaded it would be a “ wow ” thing and you would thank the technology thousands of time and commenting would meant equal to hanging out with friends.  I remember those days in early 2000s when my cousin had internet connection and I didn’t even own a computer. I would constantly wonder how amazing it would be to be on it. My school friends didn’t stop talking about it, and I didn’t stop wondering about it. And when finally for the first time I opened my orku...
