Beautiful baby , beautiful world

Image
An old man carrying his granddaughter baby on the road holds her tightly but not too tight; just to make sure his weak muscles don’t make a mistake. The baby rests her small chin on her grandpa’s shoulder with woolen scarf around her head to protect her from cold. Her dark black eyes resembling a jewel, is in her own world with no purpose. You are just behind this old man adoring the comely pink cheeks she carrying. And as you are finding a way from your heart to look into her eyes, she stops her wondering and stares back at you. You feel the connection.  As your happy hormones surge, you smile. She then sparks a beautiful smile and your heart leaps in joy . You can see yourself in her. The things didn’t stop there. The rest of evening went as pleasant as it could. While you connect the internet successfully we have long lost the art of connecting with people from the heart. And that art needn’t be learnt because that is what we are already built with. We j

Confessions of a fresh engineer

Finally became an engineer today . But if you ask me to write a program I learnt in my first year, I give you a strong guarantee that I will disappoint you. My grandmother dreamt of all her grandsons becoming an engineer because she used to see engineers of her time striding in khaki clothes, eyes covered with gold specs and little boys in underwear running behind their ambassador car whenever they passed along the lane. A bungalow, a car and servants were the assets they possessed.  But little did my innocent grandmother know that time changes and folds off everything. The dream passed down and reached us. We were expected to be engineers and we did, under the emotional approach that we can’t let down our parents.  The programs, electronic mesh diagrams and the mathematical concepts pushed my brain limits to hell. May be a week or a month from the day you completed that book! Don’t worry I had to go through same feeling. I remember reading it in some book    “There is enough time to sleep after you die. Grab each and every moment now while you are alive” To my surprise I felt enlightened. I woke up at five everyday and slept at twelve at night. Of course I utilized the extra 3 to 5 hours,   I got in enjoying ‘moments’, as books had explained. But for how long? Almost after one month I forgot every inch of that book and slept like mad for hours. Even when the books said “Pleasing people is

Top 5 must-read inspirational books

I was a very shy from my childhood days . It continued until my tenth exams. Low confidence and self esteem, very traditionalistic, God fearing and a guy who could be easily bullied by his juniors are some of the attributes with which you could have easily described me in those days. Things changed when my brother Mahesh pushed me to read “The alchemist” by Paulo Coelho.   I built a positive reinforcement in myself and then things have changed a lot .  I wish to pass on the best inspirational books I could suggest to you. Although there may be still more to come in my life ahead. If you have your books to suggest I request you to mention them in the comment box below so that  even i could go through it.  #1 : The Secret by Rhonda Bryne This book stresses upon the concept of LAW OF ATTRACTION. It has helped readers turn positive and cling on to the hope in times of darkness. The basic principle “Whatever you focus on, expands”. Though the principles aren’t ne
