Independent India Independent?

Today, 15th August we are celebrating 67th year of our Independence .On the fateful night of 14th August 1947 we got Independence from the British rule. We became independent and all ready to leap into Global scenario as a new and Evolving nation. Our freedom fighters did a great work to make our country independent, Subhashchandra Bose, Swatantryavir Vinayak Damodar Sawarkar, Mahatma Gandhi,Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Vallabhbhai Patel , Bhagat Singh many more to name such that. We all must be pay gratitude to them, thankful to them.

But where are we going now?? The biggest question.


We are facing so much of problems .When we started we were very hopeful about our future. And still we are. But what happened in last 67 years? There is not much change in conditions of normal human being here, the ‘AAM AADMI’. Petrol and vegetable prices are going high. Inflation rate is so much up. Sensex on the decline.  GDP is quite low. Water and electricity problems so much to tell. 




Politics and corruption have become a part of everyday life. It is troubling every common individual very much .Environmental issues are also there. We are not giving importance to our soldiers too .They are doing so much for us .Common man is still facing problem in 3 main aspects of life which are Food, Cloths, Living and place. This condition is not good.

In Global scenario also we are not doing well. Pakistan breaking Ceasefire every other day, China crossing the Line of Actual Control (LAC) many times to enter into our territory. Our jawans are getting killed by Militants, terrorist on the border .Bomb blasts, attacks by Terrorist have become a regular thing. 

While one of our politician says “Bade bade shehro me aisi choti choti bate hoti rehti he”.There was a time when the value of 1 rupee = 1 $ but now, our economical downfall has started. Why??why all this is happening to us? Why we are still developing country after 67 years of Independence. Why we are unable to achieve progress like China ,US and Japan?


The reason is ‘WE’ .Yes my friends, we are the main reason behind our condition at this point. Action is missing , action for our own country. We all are well settled in our life so much so that we don’t have time for our country. We keep doing things for our self and ignore our country’s condition. We should serve our country, Our ‘Mother India’. We must act to make our country progressive. Its not enough just to change your profile picture on Networking site or wishing on the day. We should take pledge to work for our country. The emotions should be there for throughout the year not for a single day.
This situation can surely be changed if we desire to do so. If we all come together and work for betterment of our country then its surely possible to go on Progressive path and become a ‘Developed Nation’ from ‘Developing Nation’.  Yes, we can do that. And we should do for our country. 

We just say “This should not happen”,  “This is wrong” . We don’t take next step. Our politicians just keep talking, giving false promises to us, making us fool every time. Its happening for last 67 years and will sure keep happening in future also if we don’t take any action. 

Come together, be united and work for betterment of country. Enter into active politics, social work. At least help in spreading awareness to the common masses. If we don’t wake up now, the condition is going to be worse. Help society to grow up and come forward to work for the country !

I had a friend whom I seem to meet almost regularly during travel to college. I would alight Karjat and he would travel to Lonavla. With this same thing happening over almost a year, we had grown into close friends.
